The idea - human and animal interaction and communication

Everyone knows the importance of good and effective communications, be it for business or in everyday life. Poor communication can easily lead to misunderstandings and also mistrust, which neither are favourable in most cases. Communication is all about passing on information, where mutual understanding and the ability to give feedback is vital for good communication, thus maintaining a healthy relationship between all parts.

Humans are today totally reliant of animals and their resources, and have been so for millenniums. Not only do they serve as one of our main food sources, and contribute to maintaining balanced ecosystems; humans are using animals more and more as tools of service, and keeping domesticated animals for companionship is an ever-increasing trend. Thus is the importance of good interspecies communication between humans and their animals crucial; not only for understanding the animals to further make use of their resources, but also to establish and uphold a mutual and respectful relationship, on both human and animal premises.

I wish to portray and educated society on the importance and value of good communication between humans and animals. Animals have become such a huge part of our everyday life, mostly on our premises, and I think it is our duty and responsibility to learn how to properly understand animal behaviour and how to communicate with animals, showing respect to each species unique language and its value. This way we can avoid miscommunication, and potentially dangerous situations concerning human and animal interaction.

I plan on conveying this message through writing a blog on the subject of human and animal interaction and communication.
